From quick reading around i think your stuck with android, firstly alot of the hardware may be incompatible, and also not powerful enough to run other OS'es such as windows.

The rogue plugin is part of nice cast, it allows you to stream system audio without having to loop it out theme back in, it 'hacks' the systems audio output to broadcast it. As you'll be using it with traktor anyway, you should be able to uninstall it. Not sure where to uninstall it, try system prefs or nice cast Prefs

As russell essentially said, how do you expect the club to be happy with it if your not happy with your own efforts? Make it as good as you can so you show your listener the full potential you have

Make sure the old computer your copying from has updated iTunes, new computer also has updated iTunes, and copy all the XML files etc. I have iTunes set to copy all music files to iTunes folder when I add them, so when I transfer no directories get stuffed up as all music is within iTunes folder. Maybe that is your issue, as I've never had a problem doing it

I keep originals until after I've listened to all of the analysed copies. When I say dynamics meaning a really flat waveform will get expanded out and db adjusted, so it's on a similar volume to the rest of the tracks. If I don't run them through for example, on my 850s some are just a full block for the waveform, and some are really small. After running them through the waveform shows quite nicely. It is essentially a mastering tool to take all the tracks to a similar volume and similar 'height' of waveform without clipping.

It does more than adjust the volume, it adjusts the dynamics of the waveform to avoid clipping. Just makes all the tracks much better to work with

I use platinum notes, works well. Normalises songs to a standard volume so it takes alot of guessing out on the gain adjustments when mixing in the next track, they are going to be a very similar volume, only minor adjustment needed at best. Just depends if you think its worth the investment.

Fairly basic mixer, but looks legit. Just a bare essentials version of the higher pioneer models, if anything like their other mixers it will be built to last (if looked after obviously). Would be worth checking out, if it's in good nick might even haggle yourself a bargain

Have you tried wiping everything to do with traktor/NI then reinstalling? One thing to try is Download latest version from website which may contain fixes, you could also try use an older version such as the one that come on the disc. People always seem to have problems with traktor, people tend to try different versions until they find one with no bugs for them then leave it and dont update, or do so cautiously.

Use unicode, then there will be less compatibility issues with the tag info when people DL and open it

I listened to MOS Annual and a few other compilation cd's back in 2006 (think i was 12 then) and have been into edm ever since, my knowledge and taste across the different EDM genres growing and changing over the years. Have always had a wide range of music tastes, most other kids thought some of the shit i listened to was rare, but I didn't care. But yes as eggs said, the phases most people go through in teenage years is fairly dependant on 'pop' and the charts at the time. e.g. right now elements of house/electro/dubstep sounds are evident in pop music (not saying the music is this, it is far from it, just elements of). That is reflective of what 'underground' sounds have been popular over the last few years. It's all a big circle.
