  3. Lol yeah i was going to say get a pc
  4. This sounds like a security or other setting compatibility issue, you have tried connecting close to the router to ensure it is not a signal issue?
  5. Oh fuck completely forgot about this
  6. hahaha, what time did he start? i watched chuckie then some terrible koreans started so i turned it off
  7. Haha you love your live streams, is it a mixed festival is it? Not keen to watch rock crap.

  12. lol do it pending, hilarity will ensue.
  13. Haha would put it on the front verandah and use it on indian telstra salesmen.
  14. Apparently the SD's are quicker but only the cdj2000s have them so if a club has 850s or 900s youre fucked. TBH i have the same sandisks and i think they are pretty shit quality, i noticed my old almost full decent sticks load quicker, it seems like it helps to get better keys. Havnt really noticed any slowing and i use my usbs alot.
  15. To give an update 100% trust and back the usb's over cd now. In the 3 or so months since i last posted in this thread i have been using usb without link and it's been perfect. Using rekordbox over pro dj link is very unstable, the same for playing off the one usb linked. Alot of players especially club ones seem to have damaged/worn ethernet ports or could be the cable and they are bumped so easily causing the link to go down for a few minutes which can mean no music for a few minutes. I have had one cdj freeze due to a bad wav file but was solved in a matter of seconds by a restart of the cdj. That said loading times, quality, stability, ease of storage/transportation, being able to see your tracks on a light screen, along with all the info compared to looking through a bag is so much better. Usb is the way to go.
  16. that said you cant forget guys if you are playing in a paid environment you aren't there to educate them you are there to entertain them, 99% of people wont care what cool genre you like they want to hear the same rubbish they can recognise. As girls will put it "something we can sing along to". The whole passion thing is really important imo to being a good dj, dont like playing commercial rnb crap, then dont ask for gigs in those clubs lol. It really makes it so much better when you are playing stuff you love when the crowd is going nuts.
  17. Very easy to get trapped in a genre, it's always good to broaden your horizons. But really unless you are a mobile dj, it's going to be quite hard to professionally cater for crowds of many different genres. Of course in a commercial sense, house, electro and rnb will all cross over quite alot, but yeah nothing wrong with mixing and listening to new genres you just have to realise genres have their time, place and crowd. Eg i love trance lately but you cant go around dropping it at hard electro clubs, just doesn't work.
  18. Yeah 100% finally nailing a really good mash up/mini mix thing it really does help
  19. Yeah a 600 would be sweet
  20. Have noticed this before, of course nothing a small nudge of the jog cant fix, not enough to outweigh all the benefits of cdjs but still a consideration. I actually noticed doing a mixtape once where i was really trying to nail the perfect transitions, if some tracks it was impossible to get them 100% matched
  21. He is an a-grade wanker
