Not a controller it more lets you organise your rekordbox on the go, ie set up loops and cues on your iphone then sync it back to the regular rekordbox. TBH the more i think about it, it's kind of useless lol, will obviously be useful for the aero though.

Yeah different type of unit gotta give them that, i dont know how well using the phone or tablet as the storage device will work. Still believe local storage will be the best for djing for a while still.

Has anyone sussed out the cost/availability of replacement drivers? You could potentially get generic replacements for under 100 which it wouldnt surprise me if they were better than the audioline drivers. If anyone in syd is interested ill sens thr details for speaker dudes

as others have mentioned its only the soundcard that the 850 has, will still need timecode or the new players with usb.

Anyone used it linked up to rekordbox? Had issues syncing mine

I havnt still sussed it out fully but it seems like too much of a hybrid that it starts skimping out on areas. Rekordbox is barely a dvs system, more a glorified playlist. The little screens on the device look pretty horrible to be honest. Question does it merely sync the music from rekordbox or can you use it like pro link and use your laptop whilst playing to search etc? Yes i do dislike majority of digital devices as frankly their quality is generally crap compared to decks, i could never go back after switching to cdjs, yes i have owned three controllers im not a biased know-nothing. I will reserve full judgement untill i actually play on one, any idea of pricing to determine if it will be entry level or what.

Blown by the sounds of it, a driver replacement wouldnt be impossible just have to suss out what fits.
