IKEA stuff:

Expedit 2x2 (79x79cm)

21cm Capita legs

Linnmon tabletop 120x60cm

Dioder lights (comes with 4 led strips)

Numark TTX & DXM06

.

You stated in your intro thread that your fader has carked it, you can get a replacement for a bout 50 bucks online, but i would suggest another second hand mixer, i'm about to pick up a spare from a perth member for a great price. Maybe one of the melb lads has something??

Also i would recommend if you can access a laptop, put a playlist of instrumental beats on it and run it into the 2nd channel of ya mixer, theres heaps of great free beats to download on soundcloud, i can link you a few. Then scratch practise is a bit more interesting.

All good. I decided to open it up and cleared some dust and twiddle the cables and I've got the fader working.

I've got my parents Akai ap-x1 turntable and Akai am-u1 amp running through the speakers and I play instrumentals on that whilst listening for the ttx through headphones for now. Mixing will have to wait.

Cheers all, 'tis nice playing with just a low watt lamp and the led lights.
Speed Skater?

*edit by Cupe - removed quote of above post*

Not exactly, the red ones with 100mm wheels are from A to B

And the white ones are for the skate park.

Wow... Most owners of those skates usually wouldn't be seen in the other pair.
